Is there a way to automatically hyperlink an image based on cell value in excel?

I work in inventory/receiving for a production warehouse. I mainly manage our special order items. I have a spreadsheet that keeps track of which quantity of which items have been received, and where in the warehouse I placed them. Lately, there's been a lot of issues with these special order items going missing, and some of the kickback is going on me. I'm looking for a CYA procedure. I want to be able to hyperlink a photo, the file for which I would name the same thing as the item number, to a cell automatically. Is there a way to go about doing this? If so, how?

For instance:

I recieve item 568214.10

I want to be able to have a file with photos named after the item: 568214-10.jpg.

Is there a way to when I type the item number in the cell, it will automatically hyperlink the jpg?
