Why only BLACK dark mode?

Hi everyone,

So I finally switched to Excel 365 only because I realized the full dark mode is only supported there. However I noticed the only option they have is pitch black dark mode but no dark grey one.

I know many users find dark grey more friendly on the eyes than pitch black.

I guess this is just a discussion cause I'm sure the feature doesn't exist. Maybe one of you Excel nerds heard anything or any official or unofficial discussions about this because I coudlnt' find any.
