Has anyone else become way more pickier as they got older?

Hii, new to this subreddit so thought I will have an ice breaking kinda discussion here.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been that person who coordinates everything. My dress, shoes, hair accessories, bag… anything I’m wearing has to match. It’s just the "fashionista" vibe I’ve always had😎.

Now that I’m older and officially in my prescription glasses era, that pickiness has gone to a whole new level. My frames aren’t just functional, they’re part of the outfit. They have to complement my look and coordinate perfectly. For me, I’m not just buying glasses… I’m curating a look.

So naturally, anytime I’m making a purchase, I go full deep dive mode searching for the perfect frames. It’s probably safe to say my shopping takes twice as long as everyone else’s at this point 😅.

After hours of scrolling, comparing and overanalyzing every little detail, I finally click the “place order” button and then of course, I obsess over the tracking number (my recent one being from firmoo and eyebuydirect hehe and now I’m just impatiently waiting for delivery).

I’ve realized that my “picky” tendencies have only grown over the years....so as my first post here, I naturally want to know if anyone else relates to this. Any lifelong picky people whose standards have skyrocketed as you’ve gotten older too? Have you developed any new “picky obsessions” like I have with glasses? Any fellow picky glasses accessory buyer here?

Would love to connect with anyone who gets it🤗
