Fringe/bang glue hair damage? Alternatives?

Essentially, my go-to hair styling method for the last year or so has been glue - and I’m getting worried. I’ve got fairly curly (but also thin hair) which I style into a fringe with EYELASH glue. It’s been working super super well for me - in styling it precisely how I want, holding it there for the day, even in harsh windy weather etc - however I’m starting to worry about breakage and general damage. Showers (removal time) are basically made up of me worrying about the hair I’m losing in the process. I’m a guy, and obviously fairly concerned about hairloss, so I guess in all of this I’m asking:

-does anyone know of any other really sturdy alternatives I could use? Perhaps quicker/easier to remove

-any removal methods/resources?

-and I guess lastly, how many hairs is it normal to lose in a shower? (My hair is pretty long so they clump together and may look like more, but I’d assume like 25ish, maybe more?)

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, it just seems like this is the best place for a total appraisal
