Lights for photographing my paintings on a budget

I have about 60 of my own paintings that I need to photograph so I can make digital prints and also put images on my website. What lighting should I buy?

My paintings are all abstract art—bright colors, some glossy, some matte, maximum size is 24x36” (most are smaller).

I intend to use my iPhone 16, shooting raw. I’ll be setting up in my art studio, which is the size of a standard bedroom.

I have two Aputure MT Pro lights on loan from a friend. I asked Claude.ai for advice and Claude recommended I get the Neewer 660 two-pack LED panel kit. Also recommended getting polarizing flims for the lights and a polarizing lens for the iPhone.

I read what I could find here about photographing paintings, but all the advice seems geared to professionals who need high-quality, flexible, and durable gear. I just need to document my own paintings, then the gear goes in the closet.

Am I on the right track? Can I trust what Claude is telling me?
