Conflicting feelings for what to wear to a Grammy themed senior prom

The theme is The Grammys, but I(18M) find that much too basic, at least on the surface, before the theme was revealed I already knew I wanted to go for kind of a victorian/vampire-esque look, not quite all black, but something that's more alternative and seems like I emerged from a different time. I want some pointers regarding if this seems ok to wear to a prom with this specific theme(I think Chappell Roan did something similar?), and what I could do styling wise to still incorporate these elements in.

Attached is a vest(from ShrineOfHollywood) that fits the style I'm going for, I would love to pair a jabot and cuffs with it.

Some key information is that I have little prior experiences with formal mens fashion, suits and such, so some advice regarding what kind of jacket/pants/shoes would go well with this and be appropriate for prom would be much appreciated. I was thinking a tailcoat may go well with it. If my height is any consideration, I am 5'1. I also would not mind recommendations for pieces that would fit the mood I am going for, any help is appreciated!
