Purchasing international flight tickets during this oil crisis (Fall 2026)
Curious how you all are trying to plan your international travels this year with the chaos related to oil prices. I typically buy 3 months before as when I buy earlier it's a lot more expensive just like if I buy last minute.
Planned to go to Portugal/Spain from Canada. Prices before the ruckus were ~800 round (direct flights). Now approximately $1200....
This was ironically for "quieter" season around Oct/Nov.
So the question is - are people buying tickets now at these high prices, or risking buying them at least ~3 months out before their trip.
