Can’t decide on beauty services

I’m getting married this October. I wanted to get hair and makeup services from the same person/company so I wouldn’t have to deal with too many contracts. As I started doing research in the Knot, I saw that most people in my area (Seattle) do one or the other.

There was a hair stylist I spoke to and vibed with, but she decided she wasn’t able to do the kind of hair I wanted. There is a makeup artist I have a quote for, but I don’t love that she doesn’t do trials. I also have a quote from one salon that will provide separate people for hair and makeup, but their policies seem a little nickel-and-dimey.

I don’t know if I should book the individual makeup artist who needs an answer soon, and then hope I find another separate hair person I like. What would you do?
