Poland Itinerary Questions

A friend and I are planning our first trip to Poland for the first two weeks of May. We’re planning for 11 full days in country plus 2 buffer days for the flights in and out that will end up being half days. We’ve only traveled in countries like Ireland using a rental car the entire trip so we’re not very accustomed to relying on public transportation. Based on the train/bus times and availability we’ve researched this is the route we came up with. Our questions for any experienced Poland travelers or locals, does our proposed route make sense, or is it trying to cram too much into the time we have? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Arrival Day: half day in Gdańsk Day 1: full day in Gdańsk Day 2: full day in Gdańsk (rent bikes and ride to Brzeźno Beach) Day 3: leave Gdańsk early morning for Malbork, spend ~3 hours in Malbork seeing castle and move on to Toruń to spend the late afternoon/evening Day 4: full day in Toruń Day 5: leave Toruń early and spend full day in Poznań Day 6: leave Poznań for Kraków area, half day in Kraków Day 7: full day in Kraków Day 8: Kalwaria/Lanckorona Day Trip (bus to Kalwaria and hike to Lanckorona), evening back in Kraków Day 9: full day in Kraków Day 10: Tatras Hiking Day (undecided between basing in Kościelisko or Chochołow) Day 11: Tatras Hiking Day Departure Day: return to Krakow to fly home
