Which of these countries is best for long-term living?

Hey everyone,

I’m trying to decide the best place to live long-term and would love your opinions.

I’m Brazilian and have only visited Costa Rica among these options so far — I really liked it, but I don’t have enough experience to compare it with the other options. I’d especially appreciate insights from people who have been to Costa Rica and can compare it with the others.

I work remotely (home office), and planning to be I’m get tini close to 30, currently single, and I’m planning to be a digital nomad for the next couple of years, but after that I’m thinking about building a family in the future (wife, kids, long-term stability). I’m more of a calm person and prioritize quality of life, structure, and overall well-being, although I do enjoy going out occasionally.

For someone earning $10K–$50K per month, which do you think is the best option and why?

Considering overall quality of life (healthcare, safety, infrastructure, cost of living, lifestyle, etc.), which do you think is the best option and why?

- Costa Rica

- Brazil

- Bali (Indonesia)

- Thailand

- Cape Town (South Africa)

- Spain

Would really appreciate insights, especially from people who have lived in or visited these places.

Thanks!
