Stolen passport- how to protect identity?

I'm in Peru, and someone stole my purse with my passport in it. I haven't voided it online yet because I have a domestic flight in a day and a half, and I need to be able to get on the plane (I have a photocopy of the passport, my physical drivers license, and a police report of the theft, so I should still be able to board). I called the us embassy, and they just said to come in for a replacement, but I'm not going to be able to get to the embassy for at least four more days, and I'm worried about identity theft if I haven't voided the passport. I froze my credit and savings account, is there anything else I can do to protect myself? Pretty anxious, advice appreciated😭
