Do eyelashes lifts not work with my lash type?

I just got a lash lift for the first time and I’m pretty disappointed. I would say I have pretty long lashes but they aren’t full. I like the way my lashes look after I curl and put mascara on them but unfortunately they’re very straight and can’t hold the curl.

I’m currently in Hanoi and only paid $10 for a Korean lash lift, so I’m not super duper bummed but I’m kind sad it made no difference. I honestly think they look a little worse.

I’m curious if lash lifts don’t work with my lashes or if my lash tech may have not done a good job?
