Tips for growing out hair?

I need tips on how to grow my hair and strengthen it. I’ve battled with split ends and breakage no matter how many products I use or how high quality they are.

I get my roots touched up every six weeks due to having sporadic whites/grays popping up, and try washing it only once or twice a week. I’ve been alternating Pureology Hydrate shampoo and conditioner with L’Oreal EverPure Glossing shampoo and conditioner, followed up by the Eva NYC deep conditioning hair mask.

My hair is super fine and I’ve used handtied extensions for many years now but want to give my hair a break.
