Am I the only one who feels like this guy when trying on the oversized pants in style now?

I love the look of the oversized pants and big shirt combo. However, I’m shorter and larger with a big butt and stomach. Some people can pull it off whatever size they are though! Which I am jealous of. But I just can’t get over the way it makes me FEEL. Anyone else have this problem? What are some ways to style these besides a tight shirt or crop top? Is it really ok to wear a big shirt and baggy pants at the same time?

I have recently gravitated towards old school American eagle jeans I’ve thrifted (in my 30s so the ones that were in style when I was in high school which I love) slight flare/bootcut. Skinny jeans look awful on me too. I’d love to wear the big pants confidently. I just want to not be lame! Omg do people even say that anymore?!
