How much heat should I use if I want to straighten my 3C curls weekly?

I wasn’t really sure what sub reddit to post this on, so I decided to ask here. I have 3C hair, and I straightened my hair after 2+ years I think, and it’s already become damaged. I realised that I’ve used way too much heat and that I should’ve used less, (I used 230°C, google also says 446°F) but I was worried to have frizzy straight hair. I usually wash my hair weekly so I would like to straighten my curls weekly, and for it to last the whole week without having to re-straighten. My straight hair lasted well last time, but when i washed it, it had a bad burnt smell and so did my bonnet and shower cap etc. I want to avoid that whilst having nicely straightened hair. I’ll list my products below, but I think my straightener is a bit old or my heat protectant isn’t that strong.

To straighten my curls, I first blow dry my hair and use the TRESemmé Pro Collection Keratin Smooth Heat Protect Spray. Then I straighten my hair with the Remington Ceramic Straight 230. Once I’m done I usually put oil on it but currently I’m trying out the Pantene Pro-V Argan Infused Oil.

I feel like after straightening my hair, my curl pattern slightly loosened, and my hair gets frizzy quicker and just doesn’t have that shine. I do love my curls so I don’t want to lose my full curl pattern, but at the same time I try not to spend as much money on curl products, so I’m not sure if my products are the best quality, I just kind of go with what I feel works. I’m happy with my products right now, but I don’t really know what else to use. But I just want to straighten it right now, and I don’t know what temperature!
