Should I take the FIT Beauty Industry Essentials program to get into the beauty industry?

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about enrolling in the FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology) Beauty Industry Essentials Program, as I’m looking to break into the beauty industry. 💄 It’s a non-credit, fully online program that has 7 courses designed to give people a “leg up” who want to work in the industry.

Has anyone taken this before and found it to be useful in anyway? Be it standing out on your resume, catching employers’ attention, gaining confidence through knowledge, networking/making connections, etc.?

It’s $1,000 & I want to make sure this would actually be an asset for me before I jump in. 🤔

Thanks in advance! 🙏
