Suggestions/recommendations for first time Philippines vacation

Hello, my partner and I are looking at travelling to Philippines for the first time and are looking for recommendations for places that offer a more relaxed vibe but have decent food, culture and nightlife aswell.

We have been to Indo, Cambodia and Malaysia, and loved Ubud and Siem Reap most. Whenever i try to look up anything Philippines related it seems that there are a lot of options but travel vlogs and websites make out that every place is percect for the above mentioned.
