Western vs korean skincare

I grew up using european skincare like lancome, lamer, cle de peau. I normally just use serum, cream sunscreen. I rotated between each brand from time to time. I don’t have much knowledge about skincare. I just use whatever my mom introduced me to. I got small breakout sometime and did some laser treatment and stuff. But recently have got into a rabbit hole of korean skincare like skin1004, anua, biodance. They seem to have so many step: toner pad, ampoule, so many serum and moisturizer. They seem amazing and much more affordable. I’m considering trying it but also dont want to risk breaking out more.

Should I try it out? Has anyone has experience with switching over or just recommendation in general?
