Is the PlayMemories App any good?

Ever since I started with photography I always just plugged my cam via USB to my PC, or my SD Card to my Laptop and uploaded anything to my OneDrive.

Now I know that PlayMemories exists but I never really looked into it. I just came across it again and finally wondered if it's any good to use? Like will my life get easier??
