Big birthday coming up - present ideas

I'm turning 30! Still going through the motions of accepting it and all my life I've hated having a birthday and it'll probably be a lonely one however my only close family but the best always ask me what I want. Every year my mind goes completely blank even though I see things and say I'm going to remember and never do!
I'm a pretty basic girly so the typical things but love sentimental too.
I can't get over someone spending their hard earned money on me but if I don't pick they'll do it anyway and I'd rather love it than them waste the money.
Please give me suggestions big or small.
