Dublin flight to Edinburgh

We are flying into Dublin from the states, spending a few days, then flying to Edinburgh. My question is, how long should we give ourselves to get through the airport to our gate? It’s a 30 minute drive from our hotel and our flight leaves at 10:10. I was thinking leaving at 6:30. Thoughts? Thanks!
