Central America suggestions for monkey/animal sightings that isn't Costa Rica?

I speak Spanish fluently and would be bringing the family, who is fairly well traveled. I'm not looking to stay in a $600/night ecolodge or where the only language I'll hear is English. I usually do surfing trips, but I'm trying to be expose the family to other things. The trip would be in summer.
