Visiting Sacramento CA from the Midwest. Best California/western only food??

Husband and myself are visiting some friends who already have all the places we will go set up. But I wanna try foods and restaurants ive never had before.

This includes things you can find at the supermarket!! So are there any good regional or local foods you would say a visitor should try?
