Unpopular opinion: Salt & Stone deodorant smells like BO!!

I fell for the craze. I got influenced.

My friends were all hyping it up saying things like “the smell is so strong!” “I’m a Pilates instructor and I can’t even wear it at the studio because the scent is strong and we’re a scent free zone” “I don’t even need to wear perfume!” “I’ve had strangers on the street asking me what scent I’m wearing!”

So being a girlie who loves smelling good (and not subtly, I want it loud), I bought into the hype.

I bought the Salt & Stone Santal and Velvetier scent. (Let me just say I don’t even know what Santal or Velvetier smells like but supposedly this is the best scent and most popular so I went with this)

As soon as I went to Sephora and bought it, I went to my car and put it on. Then I drove around to finish up a few errands and then I went home.

As soon as I got home, I was changing out of my clothes and into my house clothes when BAM, a sour pungent odour whacked me in the face. It smelled just like BO. I was like “oh man what is that?? Why do I smell like BO all of a sudden?!” And thats when I remembered I had smothered my pits with this new deodorant.

Augh. Awful! Now, here’s the thing, if everyone thinks this smells wonderful, then yall must think I smell wonderful too in my most natural scent after a long stressful day. Maybe I don’t even need deodorant haaa
