business casual appropriate? up

i'm starting a new job for a small company where the dress code will be business casual. Its a design position.

1) im not sure about the brown pants. theyre linen material.

2) the gold belt - appropriate for work? just looking for a way to add more interest to outfits but not sure if this is appropriate?

advice much appreciated ! just graduated and have never worked in an environment like this before.
