What can we still learn from Josef Koudelka today?

| I’ve been thinking a lot about Josef Koudelka’s work lately. What strikes me is how little he seems interested in “beautiful” images in the conventional sense. His photography feels raw, distant, often uncomfortable — but incredibly honest. From the Prague invasion to his long years in exile, everything in his work feels driven by necessity rather than aesthetics. I made a short video essay about this, trying to understand what we can actually learn from his approach today.
