Help! I was doing my makeup today, and my eyelashes look cut?!

Obviously I didn’t cut my lashes (or I don’t think I did?!)

But it’s so obvious! In the photo, I had just taken off my makeup for the day and really had a closer look.

They’re clearly blunt, like they were cut. Will they grow back?? What could have even caused this? Mascara isn’t helping! :(
