Incremental rounding of data?

I'm rounding some outputs to be more "Human" numbers and would like to round differently depending on the magnitude.

For instance, 1.564 rounds to nearest .5 =>1.5
10.564 rounds to nearest 1 => 11

100.564 rounds to nearest 5 =>105

etc, etc. is there a clever way to do this without a bunch of nasty IF statements?
