Hen corner - is this enough? What else?

| Hi, welcome to my humble hen corner (wip) I've downsized to 3 hens and a rooster (Bantams) They have free ranged in the whole garden for four years, but they've eaten everything they could and I'd like to reclaim it, so I've decided to section them off. They have two feeders, a little house to lay eggs in, water, plenty of roost space and some things to jump on. I've planted more shrubs (protected with fencing). They have sunshine and shade. They are safe and comfortable overall - the fenced perimeter is purely to keep them contained. Would this be enough for their wellbeing? What other enrichment ideas do you have? (Besides throwing in yummy treats) [link] [comments] |
