Would it be wild to wear bikini bottoms to my first wax?

I'm getting waxed for the first time (Brazilian because I hate myself), and everything I see is wear loose clothes before and after. I'm planning on wearing a loose skirt to my appointment and then debating wearing my string bikini or going commando to really try and limit the chance of ingrowns. Is this crazy? Am I over thinking this? If anyone has any tips for a first wax I would love them.
