$300 Roundtrip for Inter-island Flights

Is this normal or is it the new Alaska-owned world?
Hawaiian and Southwest prices mirror each other. I don’t recall interisland costing this much in the past. What are they going to do for Kama’aina just trying to go to the doctor? 😣

Also the Alaska and Hawaiian merger has been an operational disaster. I’ve been in over 7 hours of delays, mostly sitting uncomfortably on the plane, due to “load balancing paperwork” and “plane too hot”.

Anyone else experiencing similar?
