Substitutes for lash glue?

I've never used lashes before but I got a case a while ago thinking it'd come with lash glue and it didn't. I don't have the motivation to go outside and spend a lot of money on lash glue, does anyone know of safe substitutes that are in the house and WON'T damage your eyes? Please don't respond if you just want to say "lol just go out and buy some" I just want advice not to be shamed </3
