Reason for proportions of sheet facial masks
Hi, All! I am writing an opinion article for my school's newspaper about how face masks and skin care products are linked to Eurocentric beauty standards. What I want to talk about in my article is the specific size of the eye holes, nose holes, and area above the upper lip, and how because of that face masks don't fit most people who use sheet face masks. The idea behind the article is a very specific thing that is kind of hard to find research about. I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a reason behind why the proportions are that sized or who/what they are based off of. I know that Madam Rowley is credited as the inventor of modern masks, so could it be based on her facial features??? Also, if there is any other forum or place I should go to get more information about the topic, let me know!!
