LA vs San Francisco, San Diego OR SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY

Hey guys! Hope you're well

Solo traveler here, and am trying to pick out 2 cities in the US, between late July/ early August, that would be quite enjoyable to visit and do lots in! (Within 4 days)

So far, I've chosen New York (NYC) and California (still deciding on the city!)

But nothing is set in stone and I'm seeing lots of positive things about Chicago - but wondering whether I should replace that with New York City as I have heard they can be quite similar

THINGS TO NOTE:

  • EUROPEAN, CANNOT DRIVE - Would love a walk able place!
  • Quite flexible with anything, would appreciate a place that would shock me, like a true slice of Californiaa (or any place)
  • Love a good beach and weather
  • Bussing nightlife
  • Friendly people!
  • Delectable food, thank you

Added bonus points for diversity! But really not picky at all - open to suggestions!!!

Thank you, and have a good one!

Cheers x
