A little sanctuary for the chickens we’ll always remember

Hi! I’m still fairly new to this community, but I love being here.

Ten days ago, I asked, “What are your chickens’ names?” and the response was incredible: over 700 messages and more than 3,000 chicken names.

I read every message, and many of them truly moved me, especially the ones remembering chickens who are no longer with us. One message in particular, from someone spending one last afternoon with her sick chicken, stayed with me.

So over the past few evenings, after dinner, I’ve been working on a small project for them. It’s a way to remember them, but with a smile.

You can create your own virtual chicken sanctuary and keep your chickens there, so they can keep clucking forever.

I created it myself, but it uses some resources from my upcoming game, so it didn’t take too much extra work. Programming is my specialty.

Feel free to create your sanctuary and add your chickens, so that you, or anyone you choose, can visit and get to know them.

That said, and just to be clear, this is a small personal project. It is and will remain free, there are no ads, and I won’t share anyone’s information with third parties.

I’ll gladly cover the server costs myself. They aren’t much per year.

If you have any suggestions or comments, they are very welcome. I’ll be happy to improve it little by little based on community feedback, adding more decorations, more skins, and anything else you can think of.
