How to look truly stylish for an interview?

I understand the interview is not about the outfit and that my outfit shouldn’t distract from what I’m saying. But interview outfit advice tends to be so dreadfully BORING, and I just feel more confident when I’ve put something stylish on. The other day I had a hard time getting out of bed, but when I put a Jean jacket on I felt perked up. I wouldn’t wear a Jean jacket to any interview, but you know what I mean.
