Admiral vs. InsureandGo - Who actually pays out?
I'm a 28yo UK resident buying annual travel insurance for Europe and a potential trip to Brazil/Peru. No significant health issues to declare.
Stuck between two quotes and looking for real-world claims experience:
1. Admiral Platinum (£111)
- Pros: Includes "Enhanced Trip Disruption" (covers internal connections like Brazil-Peru) and I’ve added the £0 excess waiver.
- Cons: 31-day trip limit and only £1k gadget cover.
2. InsureandGo Black (£170)
- Pros: 55-day trip limit, £2k gadget cover, and unlimited medical.
- Cons: £60 more expensive and less clear on "internal" flight connections.
I want to ensure stuff like my tickets to attractions and potential missed flights in South America are actually protected.
I’ve read horror stories about claims being ghosted so wanted to hear about any experience with these two brands.
