Can you widen your lips naturally?

I don't mean making the lips look thicker, I mean making the corners of your mouth be wider away. A wider smile if that makes sense.

For example look at Angeli Jolie; she has always had plump lips but as she got older it seems like they got wider *horizontally*.

She's beautiful both before and after but how did she do it? Is it just aging?
