Best way to travel between South East Asian Countries

Hi me and a couple of friends are going to South East Asia in September and just wanted advice on how to get between countries the cheapest and easiest way.

We are travelling to:

● Malaysia

● Laos

● Cambodia

● Thailand

First time travelling to the first 3 countries, we will be going for 3ish weeks
