Jakarta transport system

Hi guys planning to visit Jakarta around December and just wondering what the train service is like, can I use my Master/Visa cards or must I get some kind of prepaid card from the kiosk?

I searched around apparently there are different companies operating the train system in Jakarta. So do I need to get multiple cards and what is the best way to travel from the airport to the city center and I know taxi/car ain't the way too much traffic.
