Does anyone want to do those super niche travel things you'll remember when you're 80?

For instance, everyone's doing the tailored clothes in Hoi An, Vietnam now, but it's actually pretty poorly made clothes. Super rushed. There are a lot less niche things because people just want to tick things off a box. Do people still care about niche things available where they travel? Like I walked into this textile shop in Vientiane, Laos randomly and ended up getting a full on tour of the looms with the owner and hearing her lived experience in textile around the world. It was such a treat.

What's a niche thing you did that you found out about on your own that was really special from your trip?
