Komodo island boat tour

TL;DR: Is Komodo island boat tour worth it? Company recommendations? Thanks!

I’m planning a trip to Indonesia, and have heard awesome stuff about the Komodo tours sailing out from Lebuan Bajo, but I’m sooo overwhelmed by it all.
I see a few conflicting opinions on it all, so if anyone would like to cast their votes it’d be a huge help!

- I see a lot of people being blown away by the Komodo National Park, is it over-hyped or as cool as they say?
- How long would you say is enough for the national park? I’m thinking maybe the 3 days, 2 nights boat trips, but also considering 4 days, 3 nights …
- Can you recommend any companies doing the tours? I see a lot of people feeling scammed by bad security equipment on the boats :/ I’ve considered Seek Sophie, but I think they’re kinda expensive, so anyone got any companies I can check out?

A little about my priorities: obviously the komodo dragons, but really also beautiful views, sunsets and sunrises, a little snorkeling, but really just animals and cool views ! I’m a young female solo-backpacker, but not looking to make friends - I’m cool if the company is directed towards party people, quiet people, families whatever - and I’m not locked on any dates, so I can do weekend or Monday - Friday, whatever’s best :) I’m headed there in April next year.

Anybody got recommendations for itinerary other than the boat tour? Idk if I should spend more time on Flores …
All tips appreciated too!
Any help is greatly appreciated !!!
