Facial scrub for combination skin over 40?

I'm new to skin care; I haven't really taken care of myself but I want to start! I used to use a low-end sugar scrub once every couple weeks in the shower and like how soft/smooth my face was afterward. I'm wondering what might be some good options now that I can afford a good one and be more intentional with my skin.
