How to locate the Origin of an Unreferenced Value in a Complex Excel Workbook?
I want to determine whether a specific number (Let us say 5566.14) exists anywhere within a complex Excel workbook containing multiple sheets and interconnected calculations.
The reason is that this value appears in another Excel file and is being used there without any direct cell reference. I want to understand how this value was originally selected or derived, so I need to locate where it may exist in the original workbook.
I understand this may be difficult, especially if the number contains decimals or has been rounded during calculations. Is there a way to search not only for the exact value, but also for the closest matching values within the workbook?
