Group travel recs for Aug? Single 35
Hi all — I’m 35, single, and off for the month of August with no major plans yet. Most of my friends are either in relationships or have kids, so I’m trying to figure out something fun to do on my own without just sitting around all month.
I really want to travel, but I’m a little hesitant about doing a completely solo trip. I think I’d get nervous and possibly bored traveling entirely alone, so I’ve been looking into group travel companies instead. I’ve checked out Contiki so far (their 27–35 and 35–45 trips), but I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations for other companies, specific itineraries, or destinations that might be a good fit.
A few things I’m looking for:
- Trip length: 10 days or less
- Budget: ideally under $3,000
- Travel month: August
- Destination: Europe is my main interest right now
- Age range/vibe: late 20s to early 40s preferred
A lot of the group trips I’m finding skew very young (18–22), and I think that’s probably too big of an age gap for what I’m looking for socially.
Would love any suggestions, experiences, or itineraries you think I should check out. Thanks!
