Morning guard ceremony outside the Presidential Palace in Sofia, Bulgaria

| Accidentally walked into the morning guard ceremony near the Presidential Palace in Sofia and ended up staying way longer than I expected. The uniforms, the slow marching and the whole atmosphere felt super old-school in the best way possible. What surprised me most was how calm everything felt even though it’s right in the center of the city. Sofia honestly has this weird mix of Soviet-era buildings, Roman ruins and quiet little corners all next to each other. [link] [comments] |
