Any recommendations for a fun solo trip in July under £500?

I’ve been on a couple of solo trips before, but I’m planning another one this July from the UK and trying to keep it realistic on a budget.

I’ve got about £500 total for flights + accommodation and all, so I’m looking at short European trips where I can still keep daily spending low and get a good mix of food, exploring, and a few activities without going overboard.

I’m just trying to be more intentional with budget-friendly choices (not overpacking the itinerary, sticking to local spots, free activities, etc.) rather than just spending as I go.

For anyone who’s done similar budget solo trips, where did you go in July, and what worked to help keep the costs down but not ruin the trip at all?
