What to wear with maxi dress?

I have a bridal shower to attend and I want to wear this maxi dress but I'm limited on shoe options. They won't be super visible since this dress just barely touches the top of my feet, but still.

Are these shoes too formal, and do they clash with the white spots? I'd say in person they're a touch lighter in color.

Also, what kind of cover-up would you wear? (Color, style, etc. 30/F)
