Lucky rooster

This is blue my family’s other rooster today he tried to introduce himself to our 130lb German shepherd (who was leashed)whom we put out to use the bathroom and my rooster was curious about him and got to close and lost most of his tail feathers now this leads into a question will his tail feathers grow back with time he’s less than 3 months old now
