Ischia and/or Capri?

Initial itinerary:
- 5 days on the Amalfi Coast (Positano and/or Sorrento)
- 2 days on an island (Capri or Ischia)
- 6 days in Puglia
- 3 days in Rome

My question is: which of the options below would you choose for your first time?
a) stay 2 nights in Capri and do a day trip to Ischia while staying on the coast
b) stay 2 nights in Ischia and do a day trip to Capri while staying on the coast
c) stay 1 night on each island
d) choose only one island to stay on (which one?) and skip the day trips altogether

Staying 1 night on each island sounds tempting, but I think constantly changing hotels might get tiring.
